Bobby Weaver At Stabler Arena

Bobby Weaver, along with other clinicians (John Trenge) will be conducting a clinic at Stabler Arena. Weaver Elite wrestlers are encouraged to go and and support Bobby and the club. The clinic is Sunday, Feb. 18th from 10:30-noon. The wrestlers work out on the same mat as the Lehigh match that follows. After the clinic. wrestlers get to stay and watch the Lehigh vs University of Penn dual meet. If you are interested in going, fill in the form below with your name, email, and phone number.

UPDATE FROM LEHIGH CLINIC DIRECTOR:

The primary coaches at the clinic will be Bobby, Jon Trenge and our new head of the Lehigh Valley Athletic Club clinics, John Clark (2x Ohio State All-American, class of '04).

We also hope to have guest appearances by Olympic medalist Zeke Jones, head coach at Penn, and by 2-time Olympic coach Greg Strobel (Jones is not yet confirmed, however, as he brings his team to campus that morning).

FYI, the University of Pennsylvania has been Lehigh's chief league rival since Strobel arrived in the 1995-96 season. Penn won 4 straight EIWA titles from 1996-99 and Lehigh has won six of the last seven (Harvard won the other, in 2001). The Quakers will feature defending NCAA champion at 133 lbs, senior Matt Valenti, a former NJ state champion.

Starting for Lehigh will be four Lehigh Valley wrestlers: 133-Seth Ciasulli (PA 2, 2, 3, Easton HS); 141-Matt Ciasulli (PA 1, 1, 1 & 2-time EIWA 2nd), 149-Jeff Santo (Pen Argyl HS) and 285-Paul Weibel (PA 6th at 189, EIWA 6, 6, 3 at Hwt). Weibel and Matt Ciasulli have been ranked as high as Top 12 this year.
