Weaver Elite Red & Blue Dual Teams
Weaver Elite will be putting together two full dual teams to compete in tournaments locally, and across the states. This is a great opportunity for us to wrestle some of the best competition in the country. One team, Weaver Elite Red, will be selected by board members. Weaver Elite Blue will be open to all Weaver Elite members and range from K-Junior High-aged wrestlers. Both Elite Dual Teams will have special custom singlets, shorts and shirts to represent Weaver Elite.
How do I make the Blue team?
We will be holding bout-outs approx. one week before every dual-team tournament.Bout-outs will be announced and conducted in the room with the Weaver Elite coaches. The spots are earned with the wrestler who emerges victorious at his/her weight. Single elimination bout-outs only, no best of three.
How often can a wrestler on the team be challenged?
Since bout-outs are always one week before competitions, any wrestler may challenge for a spot on the team during bout-outs. In other words, just because you made it this week doesn't mean you'll make it the next.
What are the costs?
Entry fee is dependant upon tournament fees (usually split between all wrestlers). The other cost is a deposit of $100 to cover any damage/loss of the uniforms. Parents are required to write a check to RealLiveMedia productions in the amount of $100, which will then be put away, not cashed, until uniform is returned in the condition that it was given. Weaver Elite will pay all DUAL MEET tournament fees for the team to compete.

The team will consist of K-Junior High weights:

How do I sign up?
You must sign up below or at practice to challenge for a spot. Challenges will be conducted in the room approx. one week before competition. Good luck.
